Moving fluidly between and without attachment to a specific medium is liberating. In a practice that calls to question the relationships between meaning and expression and at the pinnacle of image sharing and presence whether implied or real, Brandon Lattu, New Works at Koenig & Clinton is a realm that feels both. A tonal tide of analog and digital elements render Lattu’s series of six columns hypnotic as they form a color/material field of possibility in space. An intentional focus on the datum of columns involuntarily swings into an abstraction of physical form. A kaleidoscopic spectrum of minimalist architecture retains its mystery as my theatricalization of body, stacks, swings and unravels only to appear again anew.
