Super-charging the breakdown of fixed definitions and boundaries between things are a series of exhibitions alluding movements. The first shift in seasons I had seen, extending skin for spirit is this, Portable Art: A Project by Celia Forner on view at Hauser & Wirth. An exhibition composed of fifteen artists experiments into wearable objects, sculpture as bodily adornment. Commanding my eye, as if born from instinct, are two works by beloved artist of mine, Pipilotti Rist. Emblems of life fated for the deities of streams, springs and fountains, these are the symbols of protection I seek.
